nothing's moving!

1. Is there enough light?

To operate best, the mouvelette and motosolino need direct sunlight and enough room. Ideally out in the open.

In general, our solar toys also work with halogen light... no sooner have you pointed the lamp at the solar panel and the toy's away!

The tomi pedaleur is a lot more easy-going. That's because it doesn't leave its base and tirelessly does its rounds even underneath an office lamp.

2. Did you securely tighten the screw on the cable connections of the solar panel?

Tighten the screws gently, and not with brute force.

3. Still not moving?

All it can be now is the solar panel or the motor.
Test the motor with an AA battery (1.2-1.5V). If the motor turns, it's the solar panel. If not, it's the motor.

During the guarantee period of two years, we will of course the solar panel or the motor free of charge!

tomi pedaleur gets off track!

If the bike keeps jumping off its wooden drive rolls, you must align the entire bike.

This means that both wheels and the stands must be practically in a straight line.

Put the rider aside and look at the back wheel of the bike from behind. You can immediately see if the back and front wheel and stands are not in a straight line. Now bend the bike frame until all the parts are in a straight line. Don't worry about bending, since the brass frame is fairly sturdy.

But if you as stron as an ox, be gentle.

There is a sketch of the procedure in the assembly instructions, or you can download the sketch here.
