Lubricaiting and oiling can't hurt either!

If the tomi squeakes and the mouvelette creaks, add a drop of thin oil to the moving parts. That does wonders!

Sewing machine oil or something similar is best.

Do not use vegetable oil! Initially this works just as well, but over time it degrades and becomes sticky.

Not all light is the same!

The polycristalline solar cells we use for our toys supply electricity best with sun- or halogenlight.

Light from energy-saving lamps, fluorescent tubes or LEDs is unsuitable!

tomi pedaleur and office lamps

If you would like the tomi under an office lamp, e.g. in the evening before you have to write a complicated letter and you don't want to do without the relaxing pedaling of the cyclist, use a halogen lamp with about 50Watt.

Halogen lamps can sometimes get quite hot. So make sure there is enough distance.
